Little Flower School, Gorakhpur is an English medium co-educational day school founded in 1991 by the Little Flower Mission, Gorakhpur. The school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The first class was started on July 2, 1991 with 33 children in LKG, two teaching staff and one non-teaching staff. The school aims at academic excellence and education for the effective development of the intellectual, mental as well as spiritual faculties of the children. Besides academics, the school also tries to inculcate in the students social and leadership qualities through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and programmes, so that they cultivate a sense of belongingness and concern for the less privileged sections of the society.

Little Flower School, Gorakhpur is located in Chargawan, at a distance of 8 km from the Gorakhpur railway station. The school hosts state-of-the-art interactive smart classrooms with a computer in each classroom; fully equipped science laboratories and a computer laboratory under the guidance of trained teachers. The school library is stocked with a large number of teaching aids, charts, CDs, journals, reference books and multimedia kits. The school also hosts Music, Dance and Recreation rooms.

Admission

Admission is conducted on the basis of merit. For new admissions, necessary documents such as Transfer Certificate and Character Certificate from the school last attended and copy of the Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination must be submitted. For admission in LKG, UKG, and class I, authentic Birth Certificate issued from competent authorities such as Nagar Nigam, Nagar Palika or Panchayat and Baptism Certificate in the case of Christian children must be submitted. Date of Birth once entered will not be altered on any account whatsoever. For admission to LKG, the child must have completed 3.5 years on March 31 of the year of admission.
