I™m sorry to say that we are not satisfied with the ratings and rank given to Shah Satnam Ji Girls School, Sirsa in comparison to Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar. We were satisfied with last year™s rank but this time it™s really disappointing. We want to know the parameters for grading so we can improve our performance and ranking. There are many discrepancies in the survey methodology. Nobody from the survey team visited our school and neither did we receive any questionnaire which is the first step to collect any data. As per the information published in the Times of India dated September 15, 2014, œas many as 8,263 parents, teachers, principals and educationists participated in the survey. But nobody approached me for the same. We request you to reveal the names of the people who participated in the survey from our school, so we can be assured of the authenticity of the information published. Secondly, the survey conducted was not done according to the basic rules of statistics. The data was collected randomly and not graded. You have compared senior secondary schools with middle schools. Schools affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and CBSE are grouped under the same category. For your information DPS, Indira Nagar has an enviable reputation…
