Timely changes Congratulations to Team EW for bringing out a mammoth 280-page 22nd anniversary issue! The EducationWorld India School Rankings are undisputedly the most comprehensive school rankings in the country, perhaps worldwide. Special thanks for adding two new parameters — online education effectiveness and mental & emotional well-being services — to assess schools in these changed times. Seamless transition to online education reflects a school’s preparedness for new-age blended learning. Moreover minimised in-person interaction during the prolonged pandemic lockdown has highlighted the importance of schools providing mental and physical well-being and counseling services. Inclusion of these parameters is timely and appropriate. Abhishek Ashok Chennai Dean not Dr. Congratulations for the comprehensive EW India School Rankings 2021-22 (EW November). You and your team have yet again pulled off a herculean task of putting an edition of this magnitude together. It must have been a tremendous exercise considering the sheer volume of data presented. May I, however, point out an error that needs rectification. You have given me the title of ‘Dr’ that I have not earned. Moreover, my designation is Dean and not director. Meera Isaacs Dean, The Cathedral & John Connon School, Fort, Mumbai CISCE not CBSE We are very gratified to be ranked among India’s Top 15 boys day schools in this year’s EW India School Rankings 2021-22 (EW November). Mallika Mukherjee Principal, MC Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, Howrah The error has been corrected online on www.educationworld.in — Editor Digitisation pioneer We are delighted to be ranked among India’s top co-ed day schools in the latest EducationWorld India School Rankings 2021-2022. As much as we are proud to provide top-class education to our learners, we are equally proud to be torchbearers of digitisation with the city’s first website in year 2000; first school with an app in 2014; first in computer education in 1989; first in paperless fees collection via swipe machines for debit and credit cards in 2010; Paytm and online fee portal in 2016; online tests in 2014 and first in online examinations in 2018. Over the years, we have made a concerted effort to provide unmatched facilities and academic opportunities in spite of a very low fee structure. However, we are not aggressive in our marketing. Hence more often than not, we go unnoticed. We invite you to send representation to our institution and see for yourself the tasks we undertake with elan. Dr. (Mrs) Mala Mehra Principal, Hoerner College, Lucknow The EducationWorld India School Rankings surveys are based on the perceptions of over 11,000 knowledgeable sample respondents who rate India’s Top 3,000 schools on 14 parameters of school education excellence.
