Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Bengaluru successfully concluded the second edition of its inter-school quiz competition, MIQ 2.0, at its Yelahanka campus. The event saw participation from over 4,200 schools across India, bringing together students for a day of learning, collaboration, and competition.
The grand finale featured six teams representing five zones: East, West, North, South 1, and South 2. The quiz, hosted by Venkatesh S (Venky), tested participants across multiple academic disciplines and emphasized teamwork and critical thinking.
Winners
- First Place: Dhariya and Vaibhav Rai, Cambridge Court High School, Jaipur – Prize: INR 1,50,000
- Second Place: Jian Jomy and Akhil Krishnan UR, Assisi Vidya Niketan Public School, Kochi – Prize: INR 1,00,000
- Third Place: Parv Jain and Argh Jain, Delhi Public School, Greater Noida – Prize: INR 50,000
Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE Bengaluru, highlighted the importance of such events by saying “Competitions like MIQ inspire students to think critically, work collaboratively, and prepare for future challenges.”
Dr. Raghavendra Prabhu, Deputy Registrar, added,“This event is a platform to foster curiosity, build friendships, and encourage lifelong learning.”
Dr. Aditya Mohan Jadhav, Principal Officer (Student Acquisition and Marketing), emphasized, “The goal of MIQ is to encourage students to embrace challenges, stay curious, and enjoy the learning journey.”
