Mayoor School, Raipur is a coeducational day cum boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Established in 2011 in collaboration with The Mayo College General Council (MCGC), Ajmer, Mayoor School, Raipur was promoted by Shree Prahalad Ahuja Foundation, a nonprofit organization, inspired by the life of Late Shree Prahalad Rai Ahuja. The school caters to the educational needs of children from class I to class XII.
Christened as “Prasadhana”, the school campus spreads over 24 acres and includes the school’s academic building which houses 60 classrooms equipped with smart boards, gym and sports complex, an auditorium, a dining hall, a transport bay, a security cell, a spacious state-of-the-art library including a digital library, an arts center and a theatre and dramatics center.
The campus also hosts labs for computers, robotics, science, home science etc, a music center, a dance and performing arts center and a seminar hall. Sports and games facilities include a swimming pool, courts for tennis, table tennis, squash, basketball and badminton, a yoga and meditation center, a climbing wall, grounds for football, golf and cricket, an athletics track, a skating rink, cricket practice nets and facilities for horse riding and riffle shooting.
The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the school has a fully automated Student Management System. Video conferencing facility is also available for students and teachers to connect with their counterparts across the world. The campus is eco-friendly and designed for physically challenged children to move about with comfort and ease.
The school is affiliated with CBSE board, New Delhi. The classroom instruction is complemented by continuous participation in subjects such as science, computers, music, art, physical education and fitness.
The teaching methodology is integrated with the analysis of concepts, customized resource kits and use of technology.
The school has partnered with NIIT Ltd. for all the technology and e-learning needs and to provide complete solution for Interactive Smart Classrooms, math labs and ERP system.
