Montfort Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School is an English medium, coeducational, residential school run by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel in the town of Yercaud.
The school follows the state board curriculum from class III to XII prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Montfort School is the only centre in Yercaud for the Higher Secondary Examination of the state board.
The school campus hosts spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, a well-stocked library, Montfort auditorium, and spacious and well ventilated dining halls with vegetarian and non-vegetarian catering sections.
Sports facilities include two swimming pools, a well-equipped gymnasium, tennis court, 400 metre athletics track and a sports field.
Montfort focuses on the intellectual, physical, psychological and spiritual development of its students. The school caters to the educational needs of students from classes III to XII. At class X, the students are prepared for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination of the Tamil Nadu state board.
Students of class XII are prepared for the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination.

Registration forms can be obtained from the school office from the first week of December to the third week of December and again from the second week of January to the end of the month.
Registration forms should be duly filled up and submitted to the school office within ten days after collecting the same or on the specified date, whichever is earlier. A photocopy of the Date of Birth certificate and two self-addressed stamped covers should accompany the registration form (Rs.35).
After the entrance test, the provisionally selected candidates will receive detailed information regarding the admission procedure, course of study, fee schedule.
