In a significant move, the Madhya Pradesh government, under the leadership of School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh, has announced its intent to introduce a stringent law aimed at preventing the leakage of examination papers. This announcement was made on Monday following the minister’s participation in the live broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program at the Government Subhash Excellence Higher Secondary School in Bhopal.

Highlighting the urgency of the matter, Singh expressed the government’s commitment to implementing a robust system that would effectively thwart attempts to make examination papers available to students ahead of time. Emphasizing the need for student vigilance, he assured that the system had undergone substantial tightening to ensure the integrity of the examination process.

Singh underscored the government’s proactive stance, stating that measures were being taken to guarantee the secure and leak-free transport of examination papers to designated centers. Additionally, he revealed plans to enact a comprehensive law to hold accountable anyone involved in malpractices related to exam paper leaks. This would encompass individuals responsible for examination centers, ensuring that no one could evade legal consequences.

Addressing concerns about the prevalence of exam-related malpractices on social media, the minister urged students to refrain from engaging with platforms that lure them by offering advance access to exam papers. He cautioned against participating in such criminal practices and stressed the importance of maintaining the sanctity of the examination process.

Reflecting on the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program, Singh shared insights into Prime Minister Modi‘s interactions with students from across the country. He emphasized the valuable experiences shared by the Prime Minister, noting their potential benefits for students.

In a commitment to creating a conducive and stress-free environment for students during exams, Singh assured that the Madhya Pradesh School Education Department would take proactive measures. This comprehensive approach aims not only to address the immediate concerns surrounding exam paper leaks but also to foster an atmosphere conducive to effective and fair assessments for all students.
