Overview

Established in 1993, MS Ramaiah College of Hotel Management is part of the prestigious Gokula Education Foundation started by Late Dr. MS Ramaiah - a great visionary, noted entrepreneur and successful industrialist. The MS Ramaiah College of Hotel Management has become a constituent college of MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) known as Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology (FHMCT) from the year 2014-15.

Campus

The college campus spreads across 150 acres hosting well-lit, airy and spacious classrooms with audio visual teaching aids, basic training kitchen, advanced training kitchen, quantity kitchen, a demonstration kitchen for cookery practicals and bakery and confectionery. Other facilities include computer room with internet facility, seminar room equipped with various audio-visual aids and well-stocked library with a huge collection of reference and text books and many national and international trade journals. The campus also provides indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

Admission

BHM and MHM- Eligibility: A pass in any discipline at the plus 2 level. Average of at least 50 percent aggregate in 4 year B.H.M. or 3 year Degree in Hotel Management/ Hospitality Management/ Catering Technology with one year relevant work experience. Selection Criteria: BHM-Selection is based on the marks scored at the plus 2 level MHM- Selection is based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination Procedure- Candidates can download the application form from - http://www.msrchm.edu/admissionprocedure.html All admissions are confirmed subject to meeting of eligibility criteria. The filled up application form with a DD for Rs. 1,000 payable to MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences towards prospectus should be sent to Director Admissions. For admissions, please contact Principal/In-charge Admissions directly. Fees For BHM - Total annual fee is Rs. 1,30,000 inclusive of all components. For MHM - Total annual fee is Rs. 2,00,000 inclusive of all components
