Overview

Established in 1982, MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE), the flagship venture of Venkatesha Education Society, imparts education beyond engineering and management. Located in Whitefield, Bangalore, it is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE. MVJ follows the motto of ‘Engineered for tomorrow’. MVJCE offers on campus learning centers in collaboration with companies such as National Instruments, Quest Global and Infosys.

Campus

Sited on a 15 acre campus, MVJCE hosts state-of-the-art infrastructure, offering an environment for progressive learning and development. The campus hosts state-of-the-art auditorium that can comfortably accommodate 1200 people, a canteen and cafeteria, indoor and outdoor games facilities and 15 seminar rooms with projectors and internet connectivity. It also provides transportation facility for students. The central library houses over 50,000 books and subscriptions to over 120 national and international journals. More than 200 e-Journals can be subscribed to through the INDEST-AICTE Consortium – IEL. The campus also houses a medical centre, an internet browsing centre a temple, a fitness center and an ATM.

Admission

Under Graduate Engineering Programs - Candidates can get admission to MVJCE through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process or through the management admission process. Post Graduate Engineering and Management Programs - Candidates can get admission to MVJCE through the Post Graduate Karnataka Common Entrance Test (PGCET) examination and selection process or through the management admission process. Post Graduate Management Programmes (MBA) - Admission to MVJCE Post-Graduate programmes may be obtained through the Post Graduate Karnataka Common Entrance Test (PGCET) examination and selection process or through the management admission process. Achievement

MVJEC hosts separate hostels for boys and girls with a cafeteria, laundry services, an on-campus ATM, gym, 24-hour power supply, STD & ISD facilities, housekeeping and medical care.
