Nalanda Public School, Mumbai is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was started in 2003 by Soham Foundation with an objective to create a caring and conducive environment where skills and attitudes for life-long learning are nurtured, thus sowing seeds for a self-confident, secure, positive minded, compassionate and progressive human being.
The school campus hosts a four storey building with spacious classrooms and corridors. The school building houses the offices, assembly hall, AV room, conference room, library and reading room, art room, activity hall, music room, math lab, computer lab, well equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology, an activity room, cafeteria, an infirmary and a gymnasium.
The school believes that qualitatively superior academic process can be achieved by providing an environment that enhances the motivational level of the child along with including co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with personalised attention devoted to each child. The co-curricular activities at Nalanda Public School include games and sports, fine arts: dance, drama, music (instrumental and vocal), debating, extempore, quizzing and elocution, outdoor activities such as trekking, picnics, field trips, excursions, nature trails, community activities, nature club, Cubs & Bulbuls, Scouts & Guides etc.
