NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi is a coeducational day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The school was established in 1966 by Net Ram Chandrawali Devi Jindal Charitable Trust with a vision to impart qualitative education to nurture the young minds. The school has classes from pre-school to class XII and has over 3,400 students on its rolls.
The school’s mission is that education should encourage in students the development of personal values and thinking process which facilitate their intelligent adaptability to the changing society and to endeavour to develop in each student good health and physical fitness, appreciation for ethical, cultural and patriotic values as a world citizen, understanding and appreciation of cultural, scientific, technical, economic and political ideas and practices with respect to globalization and technological achievement in the world, mastery of the skills of communication and learning and the ability to think clearly, logically and independently.
The school campus is spread across four acres and has playground measuring 6070 square meters in area, the campus facilities include spacious classrooms, a library, an auditorium, well equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology, math, computer, language and home science and an activity room. The school also has a music rooms, dance room, an indoor games room, book shop, canteen and an infirmary.
Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school offers education from kindergarten through class XII.
The school follows play-way method in kindergarten. In senior classes lecture method is adopted with the help of various teaching ads.
