The National Curriculum Framework for School Education, to implement the National Education Policy 2020, was released for public comment and feedback on April 14 by the Union education ministry.
While some educators have lauded the document for being self-explanatory and elaborate, others have expressed apprehensions about its verbosity, length (628-pages) and excessive detail.
In an effort to summarise the salient features of NCFSE for the benefit of educators, Dr. Swati Popat Vats, President of the Early Childhood Association and President of the Association for Primary Education and Research, presents a A-Z primer on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education.
