Overview

Neev, Indiranagar is the first of four pre-schools promoted in 2005 by Neev Schools Pvt. Ltd in Bangalore. The objective of the school is to nurture a child’s intelligence by integrating academic, social, emotional, physical and creative development.

Neev maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:9 to address the individual needs of every child. Teachers include specialists from fields of performing and fine arts as well as science and technology. Neev is an initiative of Lupin Ventures, promoted by Lupin Ltd, a pharmaceutical company.

Campus

The school environment is designed to encourage exploration and experiential learning in an interesting and fun-filled way. Neev provides its children opportunities to learn, play, explore and grow in a safe environment. The school offers spacious and well-equipped classrooms, adventure playground and garden, fine arts studio and performing arts studio, computer room, well-stocked library and resource room.

Academics

The school’s curriculum is based on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences viz. linguistic, mathematical, kinesthetic, inter/intra personal, musical and spatial development.

The school believes that learning should be the outcome of actual experience and the curriculum is divided into themes that cover various learning areas. Concepts are taught through auditory, visual and kinesthetic experiences that include activities, field trips and constant interaction.

Children in K1 and K2 (LKG, UKG) stay for the full day program. This lets them work intensively on creative skills and greater knowledge of the world around them through activities. With the support of their teachers, children learn to discover, explore and extend multiple intelligences through specialist-led experiences in the arts, science and technology.

Holiday programs

The academic year at Neev offers lesser holidays and instead celebrates most Indian and global festivals/events with children at school. Holiday activities are also planned at Neev during the summer break.

Admission

The application kit consisting of school brochure, program, fee schedule and application form, can be bought (Rs. 500/-) on weekdays between 3 pm and 5 pm, Monday-Friday, and on Saturdays between 9 am and 1 pm from the school office.

The school sends an e-mail and/or courier admission letter to parents of a child selected for admission. Parents can then confirm enrollment by fee payment within the date mentioned in the letter.
