Online parenting Summit (OPS) 2021 elaborates on various methods of parenting, a celebration of parenthood. The summit helps to reboot parenting and develop a friendly relationship between parents and their children. The concept of OPS is to create an impact on parents and their parenting styles. OPS aims to touch the universe and beyond, impact every generation that may come further. Until now, people practiced parenting in their own traditional ways but OPS tries to bring in modern ways in which one can make parenting experience much more fun yet unique.
Here is the story of Shailaja Mohan, mother of Jeshwant Mohan, who talks about her journey as a parent.
My name is Shailaja Mohan and I’m a mother to a six-year-old kid Jeshwant. My Parenting experience started six years ago and it has evolved continuously. Initially, it was quite difficult for me to understand how parenting is done or what is the right way of parenting but then slowly and steadily I started managing things. I was not a part of the 2020 summit but I have heard about the summit a lot. Some of my friends gained information and knowledge about parenting, understanding the roots of parenting and methods from Online Parenting Summit. I wasn’t aware of such a platform but in my opinion, having such platforms that can help you modernize your traditional parenting days, would be really helpful
My child was a little tough to handle during the lockdown because his attitude kept on changing every moment. It is obvious, that the lockdown has created chaos and managing a healthy mind had become difficult.
Any negative change in your child’s behaviour upsets you. My child is my life because he loves me, cares for me and most prominently he’s kind and sweet. His helpful nature sometimes makes me proud of being his mom. There are instances where sometimes I am in a bad mood and Here comes my saviour saying “don’t worry mummy” along with lots of hugs and kisses. After all those kind and caring words, my mood lightens up and it seems that there never existed a problem before.
During my parenting journey, I understood that fighting in front of my kid always negatively impacts his mind. Hence, I stopped all quarrels in front of him. All the quarrels made him feel lonely. I am very proud of myself for being a good and sorted mother to my little one. I observe my child’s behaviour to keep a check into what he’s doing. I like preparing delicious food for him, especially his favourites. I do not compel him to do anything that he does not enjoy, I set him free to do whatever he wants and I never compare him with others. I feel that every child is unique and comparing actually makes no sense, rather demotivates the child.
I share a unique relationship with my child and it is heavenly. He came into my life and brought happiness. The love and care have always made our bonding strong and I have succeeded in giving him a happy childhood with good relations. He loves me more than I love him.
My parenting experience has seen various ups and downs. I wish that I too had taken part in a platform like Online Parenting Summit, 2021 that could help me find out ways as to how parenting is done and what mistakes to avoid. The praises about the OPS have motivated me to attend it this time. There are many times when I’m not able to manage my child and the summit can help me understand the problem. I’m glad that this summit is coming up soon. Why don’t you register for it? The website link for Online parenting summit 2021, is free and online:
