According to official sources on March 21, VFS Global Edu Support Services Pvt. – the education arm of VFS Global – has partnered with Cambridge English Language Assessment (a part of the University of Cambridge) to offer the Cambridge English tests in India. VFS Global has launched an online portal to enable parents of young children to select and buy online the Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE) exam and books for their child. The portal, which is aimed at the parents of the young test-takers, provides ease and flexibility of use wherein all the information about the test and the payment gateway are integrated online.

The service is being delivered by VFS Global Edu Support Services Pvt. Ltd., the education arm of VFS Global. The exam will be conducted in five cities currently – Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru and Jalandhar – and is soon expected to expand to 12 cities across India.
Cambridge English: Young Learners (YLE) is a series of fun and engaging activity-based English language tests. It introduces primary and lower-secondary level students to everyday written and spoken English, and is an excellent way to gain confidence and improve their communication skills.
