Overview

Founded in 2005, Petals Preschool, Nirman Vihar, New Delhi is a part of Petals-India’s Preschool Club. The school aims at creating culturally rich environment in a joyous and free atmosphere for the students. The teaching methodology primarily focuses on tutoring young minds along with active participation of the parents and community of the students in the classroom, a  curriculum based on virtual knowledge and moral based ideologies thus infusing in them a sense of confidence and integrity.

Campus

Petals, Nirman Vihar hosts spacious air conditioned classrooms, a huge auditorium with a seating capacity of 150 people, a mini zoo, a gymnasium equipped with imported equipments and an ultra modern dance room. The school also accommodates a play area including ball pool, trampoline and swings, a splash pool and a sand pit catering to sporting activities for the children. The school also provides transportation and medical facilities for the well being and safety of the children.

Academics

The curriculum is based on Montessori and Project Based Learning (PBL) approach, including play and projects in its teaching methods. The school primarily concentrates on a child’s sensorial development through a multi sensory approach of teaching-learning that combines scientific study, art and creative activities, role play and drama, ensuring that every child’s interest and potential is given utmost importance and value. The preschool lays emphasis on providing life skills and value education to the young learners that goes beyond textual knowledge.

Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities such as dance, drama theatre and puppet shows. The school also organises Christmas carnival for the students that include gaming activities like tambola, lucky draw, blow up games  and other various joy rides.

Admission

Admission to Toddler and Pre-Nursery programmes take place throughout the entire academic year, subject to the availability of seats.

Admission to classes Nursery and KG take place in the month of March on first come first serve basis

Age Criteria

Class KG – 4 to 5 years

Toddler- 1 year 8 months to 2 year 3 months

Pre Nursery- 2 years 3 months to 3 years

Nursery- 3 years to 4 years
