PG Garodia School (ICSE), Ghatkopar East, Mumbai is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school was founded by Shrimati Parmeshwari Devi Gordhandas Garodiain 1969 with seven students. It today boasts over 2000 pupils with classes from playschool through class X.
The school aims to make its students value humanitarianism, help them comprehend the rich diversity of mankind and foster civic mindedness, inculcate among them national and cultural identity and promote healthy sportsmanship, mould them into conscientious global citizens and encourage them to attain, acquire, aspire and achieve the set goals.
The campus facilities include spacious classrooms equipped with audio visual teaching aids such as the LCD projectors, mikes and digital screens, well stocked library, science and computer labs, multipurpose hall and an infirmary. The school also has indoor games room and facilities for basketball, handball, table tennis, football, badminton etc.
The school follows ICSE curriculum and aims at the all-round-development of its students. Students are assessed periodically and no examinations are conducted for the primary students. Instead, continuous classroom assessment is conducted. The school offers intensive coaching in computers to help its students adapt themselves with the integration of technology. The school has adopted IT at all levels with students and teachers extensively using technology as a tool and device to plan out their lessons, and project presentation.
