Punjab education portal bags national award

The Punjab government’s education portal – e-PunjabSchool – has bagged the national e-India award at the e-India Education Summit held in Hyderabad on November 16. The award was presented to the director, general school education, Punjab, Kahan Singh Pannu by Andhra’s information technology minister, Poonia Laxami, a Punjab government spokesman said.
The portal helps district and state officials to monitor student management like child tracking, student enrolment, academics and inspection.
