Overview

Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School is a co-educational English Medium School affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Established in the year 2001 by Sri. Purushottam Kumar Bhagchandka under the aegis of Lakhi Parmatma Charitable Trust, PBAS today has a strength of 1350 students mentored by 55 teachers from kindergarten to class XII. The main objective of PBAS is to provide quality education and foster all round development of its students.

Campus

Starting off with just 50 students, this educational institution is now spread to a three-acre campus with all modern infrastructure. The main aim of PBAS is to impart holistic education that encourages children to think independently, to be passionate about what they wish to do, and value excellence. The school has earmarked for itself in all fronts-sports, cultural activities and scholastic development. The school has 50 classrooms and all of them are facilitated with ICT training facilities.

A structured sports curriculum with an outdoor playground for Karate, Basketball, Cricket, Skating, Yoga and Table Tennis is one of the main USP m of this school. The campus also has an auditorium, a library, an arts/music room and a robotics laboratory.

Academics

The school has 1350 students and 55 teachers. The primary section is taught in the ratio of 1:35 where as the middle and senior section is taught in the ratio of 1:40. The main USP of the School is Tech based teaching learning method. A child-centric curriculum is the focus of the school with importance on intellectual, social, cultural, physical & global dimensions and is based on logical and critical thinking. Apart from these,
