Rahul Gandhi accuses Modi government of crushing students’ dreams through recent paper leaks

February 28, 2024

Criticizing the BJP for the recent surge in exam paper leaks and recruitment challenges, Rahul Gandhi emphatically stated that the government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has unequivocally shattered the dreams of aspiring students. In a poignant Hindi post on X, Gandhi went on to accuse the Modi government of metamorphosing into the “enemy of the country’s future.” He eloquently shed light on the myriad struggles faced by students across different regions, ranging from frustrations stemming from paper leaks to legal battles for appointments.

In Gandhi’s assessment, the BJP-led government, facing criticism for its inability to conduct equitable exams in sectors ranging from RO-ARO to police recruitment, railways, and the army, is redirecting its dissatisfaction onto the youth. He further alleged that Modi’s policy involves the sale of job-creating institutions to friends and the recruitment of youth on a contractual basis, leading to widespread exploitation.

The Congress leader contended that the Modi government, in its actions, has extinguished the dreams and hopes not only of students but also their families, depriving them of the light of hope. In a rather ominous tone, Gandhi asserted that history will eternally condemn Narendra Modi for what he described as a grievous crime.

In response to the cancellation of the police constable recruitment exam in Uttar Pradesh, Gandhi viewed it as a triumph of youth unity and the strength of student voices. He underscored the significance of unity, suggesting that those who stand together will prevail, while those who sow division will inevitably face defeat. The Uttar Pradesh government had recently canceled the police constable recruitment examination amid allegations of a question paper leak and subsequently ordered a re-test to be conducted within the next six months.
