The Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies (RCBS), Kochi was set up under Rajagiri Vidyapeetham in 2001. Affiliated with the Mahatma Gandhi University, the institute offers Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Master in Human Resource Management (MHRM), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and International Management Programmes (IMP). All the programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute offers full placement assistance to the students.
Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies is sited on a sprawling 75 acre plot in the IT hub of Kochi, Kakkanad. Equipped with latest audio visual aids, the classrooms are spacious and well planned to facilitate long hours of teaching. The institute hosts state-of-the-art fully air conditioned auditoriums where seminars, conferences and other events are conducted, besides large air conditioned conference halls which are used for trainings, classes and formal meetings. RCBS offers Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and International Management Programme (IMP) courses.
MBA: For admission to the MBA programme, students are required to pass Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50 percent marks from Mahatma Gandhi University or other universities duly recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University. The selection process is divided into three stages. The first stage is the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by AICTE. In the second stage, the shortlisted candidates are called for interview and the third stage is Group Discussion. MHRM: For admission to MHRM course, students need to obtain minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate for Arts, Commerce and BBA/BBM degree, or 55 percent marks in aggregate for all other degree candidates (B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E. etc), or 50 percent marks in aggregate in Masters Degree examination. The degree must be recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University. The selection process is divided into three stages - CMAT examination, Interview and Group Discussion. PGDM: For admission to this course students should have passed Degree/Masters examination with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria undergo a three-stage selection procedure - Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) or CMAT conducted by AICTE, or Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM); the shortlisted candidates are called for the second and third stages of Group Discussion and Personal Interview respectively. Fees: The approximate fee for the two year MBA, MHRM and PGDM courses is Rs. 3,00,000.
