Overview

Reva University, Bangalore was set up in 2002 with the objective of transforming students into outstanding citizens of tomorrow. The university currently offers 18 full time postgraduate programmes, 5 part time postgraduate programmes, 15 graduate degree programmes and several postgraduate diploma programmes in Engineering, Architecture, Science and Technology, Commerce, Management Studies, Law and Humanities. The university focuses on Choice Based Credit System and Continuous Assessment and Grading Pattern of education for its students. The university boasts a team of highly qualified faculty from national and international institutes of repute.

Campus

The 45 acre sprawling green campus of Reva University is located in Yelahanka close to the Bangalore Airport. The unique feature of the university is that it hosts a campus Brand Store within the campus which stocks books, apparels, gift articles and a wide range of other products with the university brand on it. There is a food court within the campus that provides healthy and hygienically cooked food to the students. The laboratories are well equipped with the latest equipments. The library is stocked with well known national and international books. The university promotes various clubs such as Literary Club, science clubs, sports club, robotics, eco club, quiz club, dance and drama club and a host of other clubs.

General Information

Admission

Reva University accepts admission to different courses through different processes. For some courses, candidates need to write an entrance examination whereas for some courses, the candidate is selected on the basis of the previous qualifying examination. Application to the university can also be made online through the official website. The university offers a relaxation of 5 percent in eligibility criteria for SC and ST candidates. The university has been recognised as Asia’s Most Trusted Brand in 2016. Dr Sunil Kumar Manvi, the principal of Reva University has been awarded Prof Satish Dhawan Young Engineers State Award for the year 2015.
