Overview

Rockford Convent High School, Sector 10 A, Gurgaon is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was established on February 9, 2002 with an aim to offer an excellent learning environment and is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 with eminent personalities in its management team.

The school’s motto is “Forward Ever to Serve.”

Campus

The 2.5 acre school campus hosts a library with 10,000 books, a big reading hall and a separate section for audio cassettes and CDs, a spacious science lab equipped with the latest equipment and modern apparatus for physics, chemistry and biology, a computer lab, an art and craft room, a big hall for music and dance, EduComp-Smart class, indoor sports hall for games such as carrom, chess etc and a play ground with facilities for sports such as cricket, volley ball, badminton, skating, Taekwondo, khokho, kabadi, basketball etc.

Academics

The school curriculum is designed to provide high quality education with a futuristic view of modern techniques. The school strives to develop a strong sense of identity, gentleness, frugality, perseverance and strong human values in its students by providing good academic guidance, sports and other co-curricular activities with emphasis on character building.

The co-curricular activities include debate, declamation, elocution, drawing, painting, craft, essay writing, group song, group dance, fancy dress events and quiz.

Admission

Admissions are subject to availability of seats. Parents must first register for admission after which candidates are called for entrance test and interactive session. Candidates qualifying the test and interview are granted admissions.

For admission to class I to IX, a copy of the previous class report card and original transfer certificate from school last attended must be furnished.
