Ryan International School (RIS), Chandigarh is an English medium kindergarten-class XII school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Promoted in 2003, RIS Chandigarh is part of the Ryan International Group of Institutions (RIGI) founded by Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and Grace Pinto. Currently RIGI is India’s largest chain of proprietorial K-12 schools comprising 128 high quality English-medium schools with an aggregate enrolment of 250,000 students mentored by over 14,000 teachers countrywide.
Special emphasis is placed on extra-curricular education with a wide range of activities on offer. Recently the school started its own broadcasting station in Chandigarh, and students are actively involved in all stages of the production process.
