Founded in July 2020, Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR) is a highly reputed teachers’ training academy in India that aims at developing the latest pedagogical competencies in today’s educators. The academy boasts expertise in designing customised training modules to create teaching and learning experiences that match global standards. Over the past three years since its inception, STTAR has been transforming the education landscape with proficiency in four verticals: teacher training, curriculum designing, school enrichment programmes, and academic research.
STTAR delves into academic research, classroom observation, teacher feedback, and periodic analyses of student performance to design innovative teacher training modules that aim to enrich both teaching and learning experiences and outcomes. All topics pertinent to modern pedagogy find place in its wide range of programmes, including Instructional Strategies, Design Thinking, Digital Leadership, Assessment Strategies, ICT in Classrooms, Early Childhood Care and Education, Content Development, Classroom Management, Phonics, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and Developmental Psychology, among many more. Even as STTAR programmes cover a wide swathe of present pedagogy, the academy has forged global partnerships and leveraged the expertise of global academics to create a unique STTAR Future Learning Systems programme that aims to make educators future-ready for education in a dynamic VUCA world.

Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR) is supported by

STTAR conducts online training for teachers on weekends. The training sessions are of two hours duration and are helmed by education evangelists, domain experts, teacher trainers, school principals, and thought leaders from academia and industry. The topics for training are decided by the members of the STTAR Academic Council after deliberation, dipstick surveys, feedback from teachers, and popular demand.

Digital Leadership and Learning by Eric Sheninger
The online session on ‘Digital Leadership and Learning’ in education by Eric Sheninger, a world-famous digital pioneer and bestselling author, was a roaring hit.
The session was held in January 2022, and was virtually attended by a large number of educators from schools and institutions from India, UAE, Qatar, and Bangladesh. During the two-hour session, Eric Sheninger explained in detail the seven pillars of digital leadership in education. Each pillar highlighted the potential for digital transformation in different aspects of today’s education ecosystem.
STTAR Future Learning Systems
STTAR Future Learning Systems, a flagship programme of STTAR, was launched in May 2022. Held in the virtual mode over the course of five days, the professional development programme featured sessions covering a wide spectrum of pertinent topics that are at the cutting edge of pedagogy and technology. The key sessions include: Trends Shaping Future Learning Systems; New-Age Learning and Assessments; Changing Role of Faculty; Technology for New-Age Education and Skills; Vision and Leadership For Future Learning Systems; and Education Transitions for Societal Transformations.
STTAR Action Research

Essential Strategies for ECCE Teachers
From November 10 to 13, 2022, STTAR conducted a certificate programme on ‘Early Childhood Care and Education as envisioned in NEP 2020’. Held in collaboration with Early Childhood Association (India), the online programme featured some of the best ECCE trainers, including Dr Swati Popat Vats, Ms Saswati Nanda Satpathy, Ms Carole Paul and Ms Poonam Kochitty.
Essential Strategies for K-12 Teachers
Aptly timed before school examinations to equip K-12 teachers with actionable strategies for enhancing teaching practices, the STTAR programme on ‘Essential Strategies for K-12 Teachers – As Envisioned in NEP’ was held from February 2-4, 2023. The 3-day programme had domain experts conducting sessions on Bloom’s Taxonomy, Assessments and Enhancement Plans, Revision Strategies, and a keynote address on NEP and Its Impact.
STTAR Global School Education Conference 2023
STTAR will be conducting the STTAR GLOBAL SCHOOL EDUCATION CONFERENCE at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi on May 19-20, 2023. Themed ‘Education For A Sustainable Future’, the conference will be a one-of-its-kind forum to engage all the important stakeholders of the education fraternity: school promoters and decision makers, thought leaders, edupreneurs, principals and teachers. It will feature keynote addresses by renowned Indian and global speakers, panel discussions, master classes, case studies, and release of academic research reports. One of the highlights of the conference would be the STTAR Education Excellence Awards that will recognise exemplary work in the field of education. The conference will also have active engagement by the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Tripura.
Self-Paced Learning Modules
In March 2023, STTAR is set to launch a new programme called Self-Paced Learning for Teachers. The programme features modules on important topics such as Experiential Learning, Classroom Management, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Phonics, Storytelling and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). The content for each of these modules has been created and delivered by domain experts. These self-paced learning modules facilitate teachers to access content at their own time, place and learn at their own pace. Each module concludes with thorough assessments and a certificate.

ICT Training of 10,000 Teachers
In October 2021, STTAR entered into a collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh government to train 10,000 teachers of UP government schools in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). The training was organised in October and November 2021 as part of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group’s corporate social responsibility. All trainings were conducted online by the expert trainers of STTAR. The comprehensive training was a part of the UP Government’s five-point scheme that was launched on October 8, 2021, in Lucknow. Deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma officially flagged off the scheme at a function in Lucknow.
Launch of Health Education Curriculum For Schools
Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Schools, in collaboration with Saamarthya Teachers Training Academy of Research (STTAR), Ghaziabad, launched its Health Education Curriculum for schools in September 2021. The Health Education Curriculum is a comprehensive programme that aims at inculcating and nurturing health consciousness in students from grade I to grade XII. It was launched virtually by secretary of CBSE, Anurag Tripathi, who was the chief guest for the event.
Being a teacher training institute, STTAR does not provide accommodation facility.
