Overview

Founded in 1976, Satluj Public School, Panchkula is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It was founded by JK Serai and Pritam Singh Serai with the motto “Live with Effort” and is managed by the Satluj Educational Society.

Campus

The 12 acre school campus hosts separate wings for junior and senior students, three well equipped science laboratories, two new computer centers, art and craft, pottery area, drama studios, two large halls with excellent staging facilities, and one Home Science laboratory. The school library features volumes of latest encyclopedias, publications and reference magazine sections.

Sports facilities include snooker and pool club, lawn tennis court, basketballstadium, three grounds for soccer, hockey, handball, volleyball, swimming and splash pool, badmintoncourts and a fully equipped gym and fitness centre. The school also provides day boarding and transportation facility to its students.

Academics

Affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, the school offers education from pre-nursery through class XII. Satluj Public School faculty use internationally proven techniques in educating students such as displays chapter wise, touring and excursions, interaction with pupils, play way method for juniors, audio-visual aids, declamations, debates, quizzes, smart class technology and continuous comprehensive evaluation.

Admission

For pre-nursery to class XI, the new academic session begins in April and for class X and XII, new session commences in March.

Admission is based on test score, previous year’s mark sheet, counselling and pre-annual examination scores.

Following documents are required at the time of admission –

1. Transfer certificate from previous school

2. Birth certificate

3. Three passport size photographs

4. Detailed mark sheet
