Sharda International School, Pataudi Road, Gurgaon is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1994, the school is managed and sponsored by Shri Hardhyan Singh Memorial Education Society founded by Shri Narendra Kumar Rao in the memory of his late father Shri Hardhyan Singh with an aim to create a strong foundation for its students so that they can excel in life within the college and beyond.
Sharda International School presently boasts over 2000 students and is an ISO-9001:2000 certified institution.
The 2.25 acre school campus hosts approximately 55,000 square feet of classroom space. The classrooms are connected by a media distribution system that supports video and voice communication. The campus facilities include a well-stocked library equipped with a collection of over 15,000 books, activity halls, fine art room, music room, and a spacious hall for indoor sports with separate tables for table tennis and other games such as carrom, chess, etc. The school houses a sports field with facilities for volley ball and basket ball. There is a separate cricket pitch too.

Extracurriculars
Regular training is provided to students with special emphasis on performing arts, literature and sports. The school hosts various clubs and community service organisations on its campus. Students are trained in vocal music as well as in playing different musical instruments such as the congo, bongo, keyboard, harmonium and guitar. They are also trained in different types of dance forms such as classical, contemporary, folk and Western dance.
Students are coached in table tennis, carrom, chess, volley ball, basket ball, football, hockey, athletics and cricket.

Parents must collect the application forms and submit the duly filled forms within two days from the date of issue.
Selection for admissions is done through observation/interaction/test. For nursery and preparatory classes, observation/interactions are held after the declaration of result for which both parents must be present. Date and time for interaction are intimated at the time of submission of registration form.
For candidates seeking admission to classes I through IX, there is a written test and qualifying students are called for an interview. Both the parents are required to accompany the child for the interview.
Students seeking admission to class XI (medical, non-medical and commerce) must submit a copy of their pre-board result along with the CGPA obtained in the class X CBSE board exam. Students are also assessed for general attitude and aptitude, awareness and potential during a personal interview by the selection committee for admission to class XI.
