According to an official release on April 26, Mumbai based Shirsa Labs, a fast-growing Parent-Kid engagement company, has unveiled its advance engagement ecosystem to address the natural curiosity amongst children. Digital music, video players, mobile phones, video games have changed the way we receive and process information. Shirsa Lab’s PlanetOfGui.com is a digital engagement platform that inspires kids aged 6 to 13 years to be curious learners while having fun with engaging content.

Newspik.in is a digital newspaper sharing bite-sized news, city events and non-fictional articles for children and teachers. The news topics range from nature to science and technology, from entertainment to sports stories from across the world.

The whole platform is ‘gamified’ wherein every activity of the kid is rewarded with Geekos, a virtual currency. The Geekos can be redeemed against buying real products, unlocking features, customising avatar, and getting freebies. These ‘gamified’ instant gratification has proved to be a great hit among kids.
