Silver Line School, Ghaziabad is a coeducational day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was founded on February 4, 1987 with a vision to provide quality education.
The school is a recipient of the first ‘Intel Awards’ in the entire northern India for the best Integration of Technology in Education in the year 2001. The school faculty also participated in a training workshop held by Intel Corporation.
The school hosts a well furnished library, three computer labs with specially designed software for different age groups and science labs that also serve as a resource center for providing working models, charts and projects. The school also offers an air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity of 250 seats.
Primary and senior wings host separate three-storeyed block comprising spacious and well-ventilated classrooms. The primary wing houses classes for playgroup, kindergarten and primary school. The senior block houses a middle wing comprising class VI-VIII and senior wing with classes IX-XII.
The school also has facilities for outdoor and indoor games such as basketball, volleyball, kho-kho, skating, table tennis, chess, carom, aerobics, yoga and taekwondo.
The school is affiliated to CBSE and follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) evaluation system. The academic year is divided into two terms, each term includes two Formative Assessments (FA) and one Summative Assessment (SA).
Apart from academics the school focuses on co curricular activities such as performing arts, painting, dance, music, debates, educational visits and excursions, scout and guides and summer camps.
It also encourages outdoor and indoor games like Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Kho-Kho, Skating, T.T, Chess, Carrom, Aerobics, besides Yoga and Taekwondo.
Silverliners have bagged laurels in various inter-school competitions at the state as well as national level.
