In a shocking incident, the word “Sorry” was written all over a private school’s compound and surrounding streets in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The incident took place in Bengaluru’s Sunkadakatte area. News Agency shared the first images on Twitter where it can be seen that a red colour paint was used to write, ‘sorry’. The word has been written down on walls, roads and even on stairs.
While responding to the incident, authorities stated that they are working to identify people responsible for writing on the streets and on walls. Further, CCTV footage was also examined for leads on the miscreants. According to ANI, DCP of West Bengaluru, Dr Sanjeev Patil stated, “Two bike-borne persons were seen in the CCTV footage. Efforts are on to identify and trace them.”

A Bengaluru police team looking into the matter further said the school authorities suspected that it was the handiwork of some students who might be upset that their issues were not being addressed. However, no police complaint has been filed, police added. According to the police, the act constitutes an offence under the Karnataka Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act.
