Sri Sathya Sai Gurukulam, East Godavari is an all boys residential school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school was founded and is managed by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust since June 23, 1981. The school offers education from class I through class X.
Spread over 27 acres, the school campus hosts several trees and coconut gardens; the infrastructure includes two school buildings that house the computer lab, spacious and well-ventilated laboratories for chemistry, physics and bio-sciences, prayer hall, dining hall and auditorium. The campus also houses a guest house, principal’s and wardens’ quarter, a spacious playground, post office and a bank.
Games and sports facilities at the campus include swimming pool, courts for football, shuttle and a full-fledged cricket ground.
The school follows a curriculum that integrates both secular and spiritual education. The subjects offered include English, languages, mathematics, environmental education, science and social studies.

The school admits students from English medium schools only. For admissions to class I, students should have completed 5.5 years on June 1 of the year in which admission is sought, must have completed UKG and should possess required proficiency (as per UKG syllabus) in English, Telugu/Hindi and General Knowledge.
Prospectus and application forms can be obtained from the school before March 30 and submitted on or before April 10.
The school follows an open-admission policy and there is no preference or reservation for any community, caste, creed, class, religion or region. The selection is done solely on the basis of merit.
