St. Theresa Boys High School, Mumbai is an all boys day school affiliated with the Maharashtra State Secondary Education Board. The foundation stone of the school building was laid by His Eminence Valerian Cardinal Gracias on October 3, 1952. However, it was only in 1955 that the school became operational with 118 students, both boys and girls on its rolls under the guidance of Father Parch SVD as its first Principal. The first batch of class X students appeared for SSC examinations in 1961. In 1963, all girls sections except that of class IX and X were shifted to Duruelo Convent.
The school campus hosts spacious and well ventilated classrooms, well stocked library, well equipped labs for science and computers, multipurpose hall, sports room, medical infirmary and a playground.
The school offers curriculum prescribed by Maharashtra State Secondary Education Board from class I through X. The school’s medium of instruction is English with Hindi and Marathi as second languages. The school’s academic year is divided into two terms and lessons are imparted using computer aided learning tools.
