The evaluation for the examinations that have been already conducted will however begin during the lockdown. The education experts are also working on new academic calendar for the competitive examinations such as NCERT and NTA. He reminded students of the #MyBookMyFriend mission launched by the ministry few days ago to encourage reading habits.
As many children do not have access to the internet, the Minister said such students can avail online classes on 32 DTH channels on TV along with Tata Sky and Dish TV and if they do not have a television set at home, they take help from their neighbours. He advised that people to help each other during such difficult times. For younger kids, aged between 3 and 6 years, the government is coming up with a game-based curriculum to keep them engaged during the lockdown.
