Schools across the country have been shut prior to the Covid 19 induced national lockdown was announced in March 2020.
Meanwhile the Union HRD ministry has asked all education secretaries of all states and UTs to furnish feedback from parents of school-going children by July 20 on the following points:
- What is the likely period when they will be comfortable with reopening schools – August, September, October 2020
- What are the parents expectations from the schools – as and when they reopen
- Any other feedback/remarks in this regard
