Overview

The DPSG International, Ghaziabad is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. DPSG International, Ghaziabad is member of the Delhi Public School (DPS) Ghaziabad Society founded in 1980 that manages eight schools and more than 9,000 students.

The school’s mission is to establish systems to enable life-long learning, self-development, and improved performance for continuous excellence and making learning a joyful experience.

Campus

Measuring over 8 acres, the school campus hosts state of the art facilities with a creative block ‘Creatika’ which houses the art, sculpture, music, western and Indian dance, theatre and photography facilities. All classrooms, labs and resource rooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors and air conditioners.

The school also hosts separate ICT labs for the junior and senior wings, an amphitheatre, football field, and four international size basketball courts.

Academics

The school a special academic support programme that aims at two distinct objectives – first, to provide academic support for students and second to provide a resource for faculty as they work with multiple learning styles and individual needs in the classroom. The academic support programme provides support to students identified by the teacher inside the classroom and includes student, parents, teacher, expert advisor – generally a psychologist and a team for the development of a swift and appropriate plan of action for each student and communication among all parties involved with the student. The support programme offers a variety of academic services, peer learning, one-on-one specialized classes and small group instructions. The programme strives to develop each student’s ability by establishing a solid foundation in key academic areas.

General Information

Admission

Application form and prospectus are available at the school front office on all working days from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. The age criterion for nursery is 3 plus years as on April 1 of the year in which admission is sought.

Duly filled registration form along with all required documents (photocopy of the municipal corporation birth certificate and three passport size photographs of the child) should be deposited at the school’s front office within three days of collecting the form along with processing charges of INR 1200 to be paid in cash. Parents who are seeking admission for classes I to IX can collect copy of the syllabus for the entrance test. Admission to these classes is limited and subject to availability.

The admission test for classes I to V comprise subjects such as English, math and Hindi, while for classes VI to IX, the candidates are tested in English, math and science. The time duration for admission test for classes I to IX is 3 hours. Both the parents must be present for any interaction with the head of school along with their child.
