The Heritage School, Kolkata, marked its 24th Foundation Day with a heartfelt celebration that also heralded the start of its Silver Jubilee Year. Held on campus, the event paid tribute to the school’s journey since its founding in 2001 and reaffirmed its commitment to transformative education.
The day began with a sacred havan, followed by an inaugural ceremony graced by eminent guests including shri Vikram Swarup, Chairman of the School Managing Committee, and shri Vikas Agarwal, Trustee, Heritage Group of Institutions.
Chief Guest shri Shekhar Mehta, President (2021–22) of Rotary International, delivered a thought-provoking address on education, purpose and service. Joining him were key figures in the school’s legacy — shri H. K. Chaudhary, Padma Shri Sajjan Bhajanka, and alumnus Dr Ayush Goel, NEET Country Topper (2013) and Consultant Pulmonologist at AIIMS, whose presence symbolised the school’s impact.
The Silver Jubilee logo was unveiled, alongside the release of Vrittant, the school’s annual magazine, and Samsaran – The Heritage Story, a collection of alumni reflections.
The celebrations continued with the Senior School Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognising academic achievers across ICSE, ISC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula in the presence of over 500 students and parents.
As the school steps into its 25th year, the occasion served not only as a celebration of milestones but also as a reaffirmation of its founding belief — that education is the greatest act of hope.
