Overview

The Magnolia International Preschool, Anna Nagar West was established in 2011. The school’s motto is to nurture every “bud” (child) at The Magnolia with self confidence, courage, academics, communication, personality development, emotional balance and good mannerisms. It believes that each child is a “tender bud, budded from its stem (parents) and must be handled with utmost care. Negligence in handling the buds can damage their tender petals (character)”.

According to the principal Sonu Sumanth, Magnolia imparts not only learning to its children but also inculcates in them values and respect for life.

Campus

The school has air conditioned classrooms and a spacious activity area with adequate ventilation and well designed facilities. The outdoor play area is spacious and equipped with play infrastructure that enables children’s involvement in healthy physical activity. The play area also has a safely designed swimming pool.

Academics

The school’s curriculum is a blend of Montessori and ‘Nine Petal Implanting’ pedagogies. The Nine Petal Implanting provides the following:

The curriculum includes discipline and mannerisms, colors, shapes, fruits and vegetables, animals, transport, weather and climate, people who help us and reinforcement. The Magnolia celebrates all major festivals and conducts a field trip for explorative learning.

Tulip Garden for children aged 1.5 years to 2.5 years

Red Rose Garden for children aged 2.5 years to 3.5 years

Magnolias Garden for children aged 3.5 years to 4.5 years

The school also conducts workshops on parenting and interactive sessions for parents and children.
