Admission

The admission process for LKG starts from the month of January, and children who are three and a half years of age can apply for admissions. Admission for other classes is on roll-over basis and is open throughout the year subject to vacancies. There is a formal advertisement that is placed in leading daily newspapers. The application form is available online at the school website and also at the campus.

Once the forms are received an elaborate point system and draw of lots/lottery (as per the guidelines stipulated by the Delhi education department) determines the students in the first list and the second (waiting) list. A third list is also taken out if the need arises.

Admissions close by March 31 each year.

Achievement

Inclusive education in The Shri Ram School is a pairing of philosophy and pedagogy with the aim of ensuring that no child, however different from expectations and general norms, feels alienated and inadequate. The Special Education Needs Department was started in April 1997 to provide educational opportunities in smaller settings to children with special needs.

It is also recognised for academic excellence and was identified among the top two schools in the country based on academic performance at the ISC Examination, and is the number one private school in the locality. It is consistently ranked as not only one of the top schools in India, but also amongst the top schools of Indian background, including embassy schools in other countries and ISC schools across the globe. It is run by one of the oldest educational trusts, the Bharat Ram group, in India.

The school is ranked ninth among the top co-ed day schools in India by the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2021-22.
