Founded in 2014, Tulipians Preschool, Kolkata is currently the only preschool in Eastern India accredited by the INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI SOCIETY (U.S.A) in recognition of the highest level of quality and excellence in preschool education. The preschool is ISO 9001:2001 certified.
The preschool aims at stimulating the curiosity of kids, guiding them to explore the world, and helping them to acquire skills.
In a Tulipians classroom, the prepared learning environment is designed to support sensitive periods of the children’s development and allow them to learn at their own pace.
The preschool offers following programmes:
Mother Toddler Programme – This programme focuses on empowering mothers to give their children the best possible start in life and to enhance mother and child interaction and strengthen family relationships.
Transition 1 and 2 – At this level, focus is on expanding the child’s vocabulary, singing and engaging in conversation and encouraging language development in a variety of ways.
Nursery Junior KG and Senior KG – The Tulipians pedagogy is based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s scientific observations of child behaviour and learning. The programme emphasises on practical life, sensorial skills, math, language, science, geography, art, music & movement.
Extra-curricular activities:
Extra-curricular activities include story-telling, personality grooming, dance, yoga, and karate.
