With a mission to entertain, engage, educate and inspire, the Unwind School of Music, established in 2004, brings together people who share a passion for music. The Unwind School of Music is committed to tutoring and nurturing potential musical talent. The school aims at bringing out a level of excellence in every one of its students; the main goal being, to turn an amateur into a confident musician.

Academics

Courses offered: The Unwind School of Music offers courses in guitar, drums and keyboard. The regular courses at the school include: Fastlane- From age 13 and above on drums, guitar and keyboard (six months, 24 classes). Junior Unwind- For ages 8-12 on drums, guitar and keyboard (ten months, 40 classes). Intermediate- Advanced courses on drums, guitar and keyboard. Short Term Courses- Instrument courses on recorder, trumpet and music theory. Each class is held for one and half hours, once a week. The rest of week is meant for continuous practise by each student.

Admission

Students are exposed to a structured curriculum with a fixed time line. Immediate assessment tests are taken after each module to ensure learning. Teaching is performance oriented thus enabling each student to gain a better grasp of the instrument. It is ensured that students are kept informed of contemporary music styles and the current music scene.
