Overview

Promoted in 1999, Vardhaman College of Engineering (VCE) is one of the top 10 engineering colleges in Hyderabad. It is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and also by National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

Campus

The VCE Hyderabad campus hosts drawing halls, class rooms, laboratories, engineering workshop, english language communication skills lab, a well-stocked library featuring a large collection of books, newsapers and back volumes of the periodicals, computer centre, internet lab, seminar halls, e-class rooms, and indoor games. VCE hosts a world class air-conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of 600, and an open auditorium with a seating capacity of 2000 for large gatherings.

General Information

Admission

Admission to B.Tech course is done through EAMCET, a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. 70 percent of the seats are allotted for the merit students on the basis of their rank in EAMCET. 30 percent of the seats are under management quota. Admission to MBA is based on merit in ICET. The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
