Sited on a picturesque campus at the foothills in Pune, Vidya Valley School is an English medium coeducational day boarding school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. There is also a provision for affiliation to National Indian Open School (NIOS) for students who do not wish to appear for the ICSE or the SSC Examinations.

Campus

Sited on the foothills amidst picturesque surroundings, the 14 acre Vidya Valley School campus is located in the heart of the Sus village. The campus houses ample playing space for children, well lit spacious classrooms, a well stocked library featuring books on various topics and laboratories with modern equipments.

Besides academic facilities, the school also hosts facilities for games such as basketball, football, volleyball and cricket.

Academics

Vidya Valley School, Pune offers schooling from pre-kindergarten to class X and follows the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi curriculum. There is also a provision for affiliation to National Indian Open School (NIOS) for students who do not wish to appear for the ICSE or the SSC Examinations. The school follows a wholesome evaluation process with periodic assessments instead of terminal examinations (especially up to class V), that includes projects, daily class work, tests and quiz sessions. The school also encourages students to participate in co curricular activities such as fine arts and painting competitions conducted by the state government, tabla and Indian dance, art and choreography, Indian and Western choir and Indian and English vocals where children are taught voice modulation and linguistic skills.

Sporting activities include football, cricket, volleyball and basketball. The school also organises adventurous activities such as trekking, camping and rock climbing for the students.

To access and fill up the online application form, Firefox browser (ver 15 or higher) from Mozilla or Google’s Chrome browser is required. Microsoft Explorer 8 is also recommended.

The form is expected to be completed in one sitting and submitted online. After receiving the application number, of the two printouts of the form, one is to be submitted at the school office along with the child’s recent photograph and a photocopy of the child’s birth certificate.

Class I: 6 to 7 years as on June 1.
