Overview

Founded in 2008, WeCare at Sarjapur Road, Bangalore is the second franchisee of WeCare Learning Pvt. Ltd. WeCare offers an integrated curriculum based on international standards and well-balanced meals for the tiny tots, besides experienced nurses and caring teachers. The teachers play an active role in facilitating the growth of every child and create a second home for early learners as young as six weeks to 12 years of age.

The school was ranked No.9 among preschools in Bangalore by the Education World survey in 2012.

Campus

The infant section is equipped with a nursing cabin, individual mattresses, blankets, bibs, feeding chairs, walkers and age-appropriate toys. For the older children, the school hosts a language centre, science centre, library, fine motor centre, art centre and space for sand and water play.

Indoor play areas are equipped with ride-ons, bikes, cars, tunnels and ball pulls. The school also provides outdoor play areas where the children can swing, slide, climb, skip, hop, jump and run.

Academics

The school offers innovative programmes for different age groups.

Infants (6 weeks to 15 months): To nurture infants, the school focuses on cognitive and motor skills through playtime and activities. Parents are informed about their child’s meal, nap and activities every day.

Toddlers (15 months to 3 years): A toddler’s daily routine includes playtime, music, story, art, water play and outdoor fun. For older toddlers, the school also focuses on the development of math, communication, language skills, physical fitness, cognitive skills, creative skills, and fine motor skills.

Pre-K (3 to 4 years): The pre-K programme has been designed to provide mathematics and alphabet education, critical thinking skills and pre-writing skills.

K-1 and K-2 (4 to 6 years): These programmes offer a rich curriculum including language, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music and physical education.

Admission

WeCare is open for admission throughout the year and allocation of seats is strictly subject to availability. Application forms can be obtained from the school office against the payment of Rs. 500. Parents need to submit the filled-in application forms along with 6 passport size photographs of the student, one passport size photograph of each parent, a copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the immunization record.
