Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore, India, is a leading B-school in Karnataka offering management and entrepreneurial Education of truly international standards. Established in 1991 by a group of eminent academicians under the leadership of Prof. J Philip, former Director of IIM-Bangalore, XIME has been continuously ranked among the top thirty B-Schools in India. Campus

Located in the hub of Bangalore's IT industry, XIME possesses state of the art facilities, scenic campus and a multifaceted and diverse talent pool. The campus, is fully residential, Wi-Fi enabled, with excellent library, gym, canteen and games facilities. The campus facilities include 14 classrooms with seating capacities ranging from 40 to 150, an executive conference hall and an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300. The computer lab, with 120 PCs, also has its own state of the art video conferencing facility. All classrooms are enabled with audio-visual facilities. The XIME library, located in the main campus contains nearly 18,000 books and periodicals on all subjects related to the teaching and research interests of the institution.

General Information

Admission

The eligibility criterion for admission into the two year full-time residential postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) program of XIME is a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum average of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing for their final year examinations or awaiting their final results need to write the admission test of XLRI, Jamshedpur (XAT) or the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted jointly by the seven Indian Institutes of Management. Students who do well in the entrance exam are called for group discussion and personal interview. Tuition fee: First year: Rs.1.6 lakh; Second year: Rs.1.9 lakh Caution deposit: Rs.15, 000; Laptop fee: Rs.50, 000 Hostel fee: Rs.4, 000 per month

Accommodation

The ladies' hostel, 'Teresa Hall', is located within the main campus. The men’s hostel is located in the institute's extended campus. The hostels can accommodate about 125 women and 150 men. Every room is spacious and well-lit and equipped with basic amenities like beds, cupboards, almirahs and water heater.
