Your Kids R Our Kids (YKROK) is a leading day care and education centre, founded by Bharat Kapoor and Suman Kapoor in 2002. YKROK serves more than 2000 children in India across 12 centres today.
YKROK, located at Jorbagh in Delhi, offers daycare facility and caters to the educational needs of pre-nursery, nursery and kindergarten children.

Campus

The preschools campus hosts the following facilities –

Academics

YKROK offers the following programmes –

Day – Boarding Program (3 months – 6 years)

The daycare program is open from 12.30 to 7.30 pm. Children learn through toys, games and fun activities such as music, dance, martial arts and American beds to rest.

Infant Program (3 months – 14 months)

This program offers activities based on the child’s interests and abilities and are broken down into “needs something time” and “needs nothing time”.

Young Toddlers (14 – 18 Months) and Toddlers (18 – 24 Months)

This program focuses on providing fun activities that encourage physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. Children are encouraged to develop and become confident in their newly discovered independence skills as they explore their environment. The emphasis is on learning language and songs, ability to problem solve, toilet training, eating independently and awareness of self and others.

Two’s (2 – 2.6 Years)

This program focuses on stories, singing songs, playing games and doing art projects, which helps children to develop language and vocabulary skills, as well as movement and sensory motor skills.

Pre Nursery (2.6 – 3 Years) – The emphasis is laid on socialization and forming relationships with teachers and peers, patterning, basic counting, artwork, stage fright reduction, recognizing own name and other letters in print and participation in special events.

Nursery Program (3 – 4 Years)

This program focuses on patterning and sequencing, simple math, size differences (big, small, short, tall, more and less), counting, printing and recognizing numerals, fine tuning large and small motor skills, independent problem solving, enhancing social skills with peers and teachers.

Kindergarten program (4 – 6 Years)

Features of this program are as follows –

– All-day instruction with after-school care provided

– Educational field trips and school presentations that enhance the curriculum

– Curriculum aligned with that of local formal schools to make transition smooth and natural

– Regular communication between teachers and parents to keep you informed about your child’s day
