Established in 1984, Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM), Tiruchirapalli is a self-financed institute affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli. BIM is a partnership between Bharathidasan University and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and is housed within the premises of Tiruchirapalli division of BHEL. Bharathidasan Institute of Management is located in Tiruchirapalli (also known as Trichy), Tamil Nadu. Since its inception, the institute operates from the BHEL campus on the Trichy-Thanjavur highway, about 25 km from Tiruchirapalli bus stand. The institute offers classrooms equipped with audio-visual aids like LCD projector, direct overhead projector, television and a computer. The institute hosts a library with a collection of more than 10,000 volumes of books, journals, periodicals and online databases. Candidates with Bachelor’s or post graduate degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50 percent score from any recognized university are eligible to apply for the MBA programme. CAT scores are used for short-listing candidates. Fees Total programme fee for MBA is Rs.6,50,000.
