Founded in 1988, Alpha to Omega (ATO), Chennai is a co-educational day cum boarding school for children between four to 18 years. The school’s vision is to build a better future by focusing on cognitive, academic, communicative and emotional development of the children.
Accredited with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the school is managed by the Sri Krishna Trust, registered with the Income Tax Department, under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act and has been recognised as a Public Charitable Trust through its order under reference 145/III/90 dated August 18, 1990.
The school campus provides a learning environment for the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional growth of every child.
ATO caters to the educational needs of pre-primary children between four to six years old, the primary school child from seven to 12 years old and children from 12 to 18 years.
ATO curriculum is a combination of Instrumental Enrichment Programme, Learning Strategies Curriculum, Montessori-based Math Lab, Language Arts and Multisensory Teaching Approach.
The following subjects are a part of the Junior School curriculum
English, Second Language, Math, Science (Environmental Studies), Music, Drama, Yoga, Physical Education, Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment, Movement Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy.
Junior School classes maintain teacher-student ratio at 1:5.
