Atria University, an upcoming University backed by the Atria Group, partnered with the IC3 Movement to host their first-ever IC3 Live Virtual Fair & Symposium on August 26, 2020. The online event attracted over 10,000 students, educators, and parents from across 11 countries. The event also saw participation from 100+ Universities across 16+ countries. Atria University and the IC3 Movement have a shared vision of empowering students to make informed career decisions. And, the event was designed to offer all the benefits of a traditional student fair and workshop series, in a virtual capacity.
The symposium observed collaborative dialogues around best practices for career counseling. The four-hour-long event was designed to adopt a holistic approach to student aspirations. It offered all the benefits of a traditional student fair and workshop series, in a virtual capacity. During the symposium, universities had the opportunity to e-meet high school students and parents. And address questions in real-time through video and text chat features for an interactive experience, mimicking an in-person conversation.
With the goal of introducing counseling to every school and for every student, Jim McLaughlin, Co-Chair, Annual IC3 Conference & IC3 Regional Forums added, “The IC3 Live Virtual Fair & Symposium aims to connect global universities and aspiring students making decisions about their higher education options. The event helped thousands of students on their career preparation journey. With schools from 11 countries and universities from 16 countries participating, the event was truly a global celebration of growth through education. The IC3 Movement is grateful to Atria University for its support in strengthening the IC3 mission to bring counseling to every school.”
Speaking on their partnership with IC3 Movement, Shaheem Rahiman, CEO, Atria University said, “We are delighted to partner with IC3 Movement to facilitate an increased awareness around emerging academic pathways for students. Massive adoption of digital technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technology have redefined the careers of the future. And high school students are unaware of the new, future-focused academic programs available to them. This is where prominent career counseling platforms such as IC3 help bridging the information gap.”Posted in Campus, News
