Basant Valley Senior Secondary School, Garhi Harsaru, Gurgaon is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 2000, Basant Valley Senior Secondary School is managed by of Pandit Pokharmal Educational and Welfare Society.

Basant Valley Senior Secondary School aims to develop in its students qualities that will make them worthy citizens of India; the school also appreciates the importance of adopting western scientific temper without giving up Indian traditions and culture.

Campus

The 3.5 acre school campus hosts spacious and aesthetically designed classrooms with modern audio-visual teaching aids and apparatus, well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology, math and computer science, a well-stocked library, an infirmary, a canteen and book store. The school’s kindergarten section is equipped with modern toys and play equipment.

The school also houses a huge playground with facilities for outdoor games such as cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, and kho-kho.

General Information

Admission

The registration process commences in January. For pre-nursery and nursery classes, students are admitted on the basis of general observation only. Students seeking admission to pre-nursery should be 2.5 years of age as on April 1 of the year in which admission is sought.

Admission to other classes is subject to the availability of seats and is done on the basis of a written test and interview.
