2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 egg yolk
300 gm cream cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp maida
1 cup bread crumbs
Salt and pepper
Heat butter in pan, add onions and cook until tender. Remove from the heat and mix with parsley, and let it cool.
Mix minced chicken with salt, pepper, egg yolk and cream cheese. Mix in the sautéed onions and parsley.
Divide the mixture into 24 even-sized balls and refrigerate for two to three hours.
Beat two full eggs. Dust the chicken balls with flour; dip in egg mixture and then in bread crumbs.
Fry in hot oil and drain on a kitchen towel. Serve hot.
Health benefits. Parsley is rich in antioxidants and boosts heart, lung and eye health. Cream cheese, though high in calories, is a good source of vitamin A.
